A Fun & Festive Affair at Meadow Ridge Farm

Juliet and Silvano pulled out all the stops to make their wedding one their guests would not soon forget. From the magical grounds at Meadow Ridge Farm on Hudson and a top-notch live band to a prosecco truck, sushi station, and our giant lawn games, their guests had all the senses delighted.

All photos by David Perlman Photography.

With wedding reception games being a fantastic way to break the ice, the very fun couple opted for our Game Rental Package #3 which included 12 games / rental items of their choice: our signature table games Ricochet, Arches and Dutch Shuffleboard, along with Giant Chess, two sets of Tipsy Timbers (aka giant Jenga), Giant Connect Four, Bocce Ball, Croquet, and multiple sets of Cornhole with accompanying Drink Tables.

They added on additional hours to get the party started at cocktail hour and keep it going through the end of the night. Their package also included a smartly dressed attendant who was present during the gaming hours to reset the games as they were played, answer their guests’ questions, and offer playing tips.

David Perlman Photography did an AMAZING job capturing the day’s festivities that Amanda, founder and lead planner of The Union Studio, so expertly curated. We hope you enjoy, and be sure to scroll to the very bottom for a list of vendors!

Meadow Ridge on Hudson has the best of both worlds for outdoor entertaining— a great sweeping lawn perfect for our classic outdoor games including Cornhole, Bocce Ball, Croquet, and giant Jenga, and a gorgeous bluestone patio for our signature table games and crowd favorites Giant Chess and Giant Connect Four. Most of our games also work perfectly inside their big beautiful barn!

This wedding had one of those very epic giant Jenga games that really drew a crowd!

CONGRATULATIONS JULIET AND SILVANO!!

Recently I began taking inventory of my life, recognizing the shifts I could make to lessen my personal consumption and impact. Since we spend a quarter of our lives working, that was certainly an area demanding attention. So I left retail and begin my career freelancing for small businesses whose higher purpose transcends profit.

I believe in employing my skills and energy to empower others working to create positive change in our world. I support too-swamped entrepreneurs by breathing life into their brands and websites, allowing them to focus on the important work at hand. At the same time, I get to nurture my own entrepreneurial spirit while being creative and building truly meaningful relationships throughout my community.

I strive to inform, delight and inspire by balancing content with design. I consider the details without losing sight of the big picture. I aim to see around corners while staying focused on the moment. I'm self directed but have over a decade of experience successfully working with teams. And while I've surely got bills to pay, I know it's my social responsibility to be selective about where I put my energy.
