We were so honored to play our part at Ashley & Mollie’s gorgeous wedding, bursting with so much color, creativity and character! From the fruit and flower-studded cake to the rainbow streamers and splashy dress code, our retro games added a fun summer camp vibe that complimented the aesthetic perfectly! Congratulations to our gorgeous couple!!
We had the absolute please of joining the Stockade Works’ 2023 MAKE LOCAL WORK summer benefit party at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY. It was a beautiful summer evening of craft libations, delicious local bites, live music, and our games! All proceeds supported the Stockade Works Scholarship Fund, opening doors for historically underserved populations in the Hudson Valley to access careers in the region’s growing Film & Television industry.
It was a perfect late summer day when Sarah and Ian exchanged their vows in a hilltop meadow at Ankony Carriage House in Rhinebeck, NY. The historic estate offers sweeping views of the Hudson River with the Catskill mountains stretching out into the distance. The drive into the property is idyllic, winding you past grazing cattle and wide open fields into the carriage house grounds that feel perched high above the river and open rolling hills.
The weather can be as unpredictable as your uncle's dance moves on your big day, but that doesn’t have to dampen your spirits. For Valanda, née Valerio and Amanda, the rain brought moody mountain silhouettes and all their favorite people huddled together under one big happy tent. And we can’t forget the good luck! Andrew Franciosa Studio did an exquisite job capturing all there was to celebrate…
Our wedding games are not just for cocktail hour— they’re also the perfect way for your guests to take a break from the dance floor, and we’ve got the photos to prove it! Tandem Photography of Door County captured the most amazing candid shots of Eric & Erica’s loved ones battling it out in a rowdy game of giant Jenga. Let's face it, dancing is a blast, but those heels can start to pinch, and a dance break doesn't mean the party has to stop!
You might hear the name Glynwood and think of a bucolic wedding venue tucked away in New York’s Hudson Valley, with rolling hillsides dotted by grazing animals, historic stone houses enveloped in vines, sweeping mountains views, and a gleaming lake. You would not be wrong. But did you know they also have an agricultural nonprofit called The Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming?
We were so very honored to play our part in Kate and Jay’s (third) wedding ceremony at The Roundhouse! We adore this venue. It’s a truly one-of-a-kind, historic property walled on two sides by a rushing waterfall in the very cool Beacon, NY. The management and staff are lovely, the grounds are immaculate, it has a ton of history (over 200 years!), and a way of combining rustic and modern for a vibe all their own.
We spent the most perfect Summer evening at Gather Greene, feasting and gaming and dancing in the quarry til dark. A truly magical day expertly produced by Locke Projects, things kicked off with a cocktail at the pavilion followed by a stroll through the property’s winding trails studded with tucked-away food stations. One last stop at the edge of the woods overlooking the quarry pond, offering a bird’s eye view of the festivities below.
We were honored to play a part in Squarespace’s 2019 Summer Party festivities! And for oh so many reasons- For one, it was happening at Versa’s swanky rooftop bar and restaurant above the Renaissance Hotel in NYC. Both born and bred in the city, we moved upstate to the Hudson Valley about 10 years ago …
Juliet and Silvano pulled out all the stops to make their wedding one their guests would not soon forget. From the magical grounds at Meadow Ridge Farm on Hudson and a top-notch live band to a prosecco truck, sushi station, and our giant lawn games, their guests had all their senses delighted.
We had the pleasure of joining in on the festivities for R’s bar mitzvah celebration, planned by the ever talented, creative, and kind Paula Smith of Your Event. A bar mitzvah (for boys, and bat mitzvah for girls) is a Jewish coming of age ceremony that literally translates to “son of the commandments.” A milestone marking the religious adulthood of a boy on his 13th birthday…
When a video game developer gets married, obviously she includes games at her wedding. But not the kind of games you might imagine— none that plug into an outlet or include flashing screens and sound effects. No no. Instead she opts for beautifully handcrafted, old school wooden games that are as elegant and fun as her happy day.
Cynthia & Richard opted for an early summer ceremony in the Wedding Garden— an intimate setting framed by flowering plants, wood bridges, a gazebo, and a darling white picket fence. The scene wouldn’t be complete without bubble makers to see the couple off! It truly felt like the funnest fairytale wedding, and the absolute perfect settings for our lawn games. We were honored to play our little part for this lovely couple who know how to throw a party!
A scenic drive just 70 miles from New York City lands you at the majestic Cedar Lakes Estate. A 1970’s summer camp turned luxury resort, the venue boasts breathtaking views of tree-lined lakes, rolling green hills and panoramic mountain horizons. The private estate has so much to offer from their rambling grounds and boutique-style cabins to…
With a lot of time in the day before the ceremony begins, what do the groom and his groomsmen do while the bride gets glammed up? It certainly helps to have some fun activities planned that the fellas can jump into. What better way to get out any wedding jitters than fun and games with your best buds?
The 7,500-square-foot space was originally developed in the 1920s as a parking garage for chauffeur-driven automobiles in Kingston’s bustling Uptown. Today, this fully-renovated building boasts a dramatic open space with polished concrete floors, floor-to-ceiling exposed brick walls, Edison bulb chandeliers, and a grandiose yet delicate gallery wall of …
It was a tiny wedding but a whole lot of fun! Jenn and Joe reserved Game Rental Package #3 plus a couple lounges to entertain their guests from cocktail hour through the end of their reception. We were honored to play our little part in their big day!
By the spring of 2020, every one of our couples had either canceled or postponed their wedding. Fast forward to the fall and some determined couples, like Jennifer and Andrii, forced to reimagine their ceremonies, have opted for a more intimate micro wedding— a celebration of 50 guests or less. These smaller affairs offer the flexibility to do more with less, and for one’s creativity to really flourish.
We had the honor of transforming a historic rooftop garden overlooking Fifth Avenue into a very festive affair with our favorite lawn and table games tucked around every corner. Erganic Design dreamed up this event for Eva & Marcus’ wedding welcome party at 620 Loft & Garden, sister venue to the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center.
The stone patio nestled between two historically landmarked buildings was seamlessly transformed into the ultimate gaming parlor complete with swooping string lights and cozy seating. Gentle breezes swept in from the dock where we spread out two sets of cornhole …
It was a late summer day, sun shining bright and hot, Nick and Nina darting around the property thoughtfully draping this and stacking that, lending their final thoughts to every surface of their dream wedding. We arrived at Audrey’s Farmhouse in Gardiner, NY …
Garland and Max designed a gorgeously rustic and elegant wedding day on her family’s 80 acre horse farm. We were thrilled to be a tiny part of the days’s magic! Here are some of our favorite shots of our cornhole and giant Jenga game rentals that kept the festivities going late into the night.
Just two hours north of the city lies a secluded oasis of verdant lawns and grand old oaks with a stately mansion poised atop a sloped hill, keeping watch over the Hudson River. The rounded peaks of the Catskill mountains slope off in the distance …
Gary Vee and the Vayner Media staff sure know how to throw down! Our cornhole boards got an upgrade for their 10 Year Anniversary Party with some fun new lights so guests could play on well into the night. We also introduced our newest game- Giant Connect Four!
